Tender for used dump truck

Amended March 13, 2018

The Town is looking to buy a used dump truck.  Click here for the tender.  The deadline was changed from March 19, 2018 @ 12:00 pm to March 20, 2018 @ 12:00 pm.  The Town Hall is closed on March 19, 2018 for a public holiday.

RiverFest/Bishop’s Falls Day

The Bishop’s Falls Town Council is pleased to advise RiverFest 2018 will take place from July 26-30, 2018.  Bishop’s Falls Day will be recognized on July 30, 2018.

Today, September 10, 2015, Mayor Hobbs announced the beginning of a very exciting project for the Town of Bishop’s Falls.


Included in today’s release was the launching of the Town’s new logo and brand which represents where we are heading as a community.

Please be advised that Effective Immediately, Central Newfoundland Waste Management will no longer collect Black or Green garbage bags.  All garbage and recyclables MUST BE PLACED IN THE APPROPRIATE CLEAR OR BLUE BAGS


Composting is a cheap and easy way to turn almost half of your garbage into plant food!  Compost Bins are now available for purchase by contacting the Town Office 258-6581 for a Total Cost of $25.00
