2016 Summer Recreation Program Highlights

We are rebranding/redesigning bishopsfalls.ca!


The Town is looking to engage a qualified website developer to rebrand/redesign bishopsfalls.ca.  If you’re interested in submitted a proposal, look under Tenders, Jobs, and Notices for more information.  The deadline for proposals is May 18, 2016.




We are looking for a Program Coordinator!

2016 Residential Spring Clean-up (Curb-side)


Council will be providing a curb-side residential spring clean-up service this year.  It begins on May 30, 2016.  For more information, please click HERE.




Civic Awards 2015 Winners


The annual Civic Awards took place on April 14, 2016 at the Bishop’s Falls Lions Club.  Council extends its congratulations to all those who were nominated.

Fallsview Park Reservations

The Town of Bishop’s Falls would like to advise all residents that effective Friday, May 1, 2015, an after hours URGENT call service will be implemented.  To access this service, please call (709) 258-6037 after 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, Weekends and Statutory Holidays






IMPORTANT NOTICE


Please be advised that Effective Immediately, Central Newfoundland Waste Management will no longer collect Black or Green garbage bags.  All garbage and recyclables MUST BE PLACED IN THE APPROPRIATE CLEAR OR BLUE BAGS





COMPOST BINS


Composting is a cheap and easy way to turn almost half of your garbage into plant food!  Compost Bins are now available for purchase at the Town Office for a Total Cost of $25.00
